“To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election” says US attorney general.

On Tuesday, US attorney General William Barr seemingly contradicted the Trump administrations claims of widespread voting irregularities in an interview he had with the Associated Press.
“To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election” - William Barr
Despite being a vocal Trump supporter and pursuing allegations of voting irregularities around the country, Barr along with the Justice Department have yet to find any evidence to support the Trump administrations claims.
Despite this, Trumps response was unusually calm and polite.
“with all due respect to the Attorney General, there hasn’t been any semblance of an investigation”. - Donald Trump
This has been the Trump campaigns response to criticism over a lack of evidence to support their claims. Essentially saying that the evidence exists, but the Justice Department and those in charge of the investigation are unwilling to find it or are actively hiding it.
While there is no evidence to support this claim either, it is enough for some of his supporters to question the validity of the investigation itself. And it is unlikely that William Barr is going to change their minds.
